Black:
Earl Grey (decaf available) - Earl Grey is a blend of Chinese black tea and Italian bergamot oil. Known as the Copenhagen Blend as it was traditionally sourced from Denmark through the 1960's. It brews a medium bodied cup with fruity, dry citrus aromatics.
English Breakfast - This is a simple and straightforward English Breakfast, with a flavorful heavy bodied cup that holds up to milk. Blended with Kalgar BOP (Assam) and Chester BOP (Ceylon) producing a strong black tea with natural fruity aromatics.
Lapsang Souchong - Lapsang Souchong is also known as "Smoke Tea". It is a black tea from the Fujina provence of China, this tea is processed over wood fires (pine or cypress) giving it a robust, rich smoky flavor. Produces a medium bodied cup, reddish amber color.
Orange Spice - A brisk warming black tea with orange notes and strong clove aromatics. Serve black with lemon and lots of sugar. Great on those cold winter days. It is not advised to add milk to this tea as the citrus oils will cause the milk to curdle.
Rose Congou - Whole leaf black tea scented with rose petals, which imparts a subtle rose flavor and aroma to the cup. Pairs well with milk and sugar.
Green:
Moroccan Mint - Moroccan mint is a blend of gunpowder green tea and spearmint leaves, which brews a pleasant, refreshing cup. Moroccan mint tea is often steeped much longer than normal green tea is, and is traditionally served sweetened.
Pomegranate Green - Chinese Sencha green tea that is infused with pomegranate flavor. Slightly tart, sweet, berry pomegranate flavors pair well with the mellow, green flavor of the Sencha.
Sencha Green Tea (decaf available) - An organically-grown Chinese green tea that is grown and processed using Japanese methods. Steamed instead of pan-fired, the resulting flat, shiny leaf brews a crisp and green/grassy cup that is mildly bitter.
Yun Wu (Cloud Mist) - Yun Wu (Cloud Mist) green tea is grown with steady shade from fog and clouds. It is a long curly leaf that brews a grassy and vegetal cup. Great green tea for those wanting its antioxidant richness.
Hot Teas:
Oolong:
Oolong - This is a medium grade Formosa-Style Oolong (Taiwan was formerly known as Formosa), the type commonly served in many Chinese restaurants. The large, coarse leaves used to create this tea have been to allowed to oxidize almost halfway and brew a smooth, mellow, fairly dark cup with light notes of earth, barley, and honey notes.
Pu-erh:
Pu-erh Small Leaf - Pu-erh Small Leaf tea yields a dark auburn cup that is sweet and earthy with a bright woody/bark-like character. Thisis Shou (cooked/ripened) not sheng (raw/green) pu-erh.
Tisane (Herbal):
Fruit Blend Herbal - Fruit Blend herbal tea is similar to Celestial Seasoning's Red Zinger. It produces a strong, tart, red infusion with minty and citrus herbal flavors.
Peppermint Leaf - Oregon-grown peppermint brews a sharp, refreshing, caffeine-free herbal tea with peppermint's signature aroma. Peppermint is most commonly known as a flavor in toothpastes, confections, gum, etc. The sharp and refreshing character of peppermint has given it a reputation as a mental refresher and it also has been used to ease stomach ailments, nausea, and headaches.
Rooibos Red Herbal - Rooibos is commonly called red tea or bush tea, and is naturally caffeine-free. Rooibos brews similar to black tea (with a similar color), but a more mellow cup. Has reputed health benefits due to high concentration of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Pairs well with milk and sugar.
White:
Bai Mu Dan - White tea is from the younger leaves and leaf buds of the tea plant. It brews a light, champagne colored cup with delicate, honeysuckle flavor notes.
