Current or very recent experience required.
Food Handler Certification eventually required, but you don’t need it to apply.

Pantry Cooks - full-time and part-time
We’re looking for friendly servers who genuinely care about the customer’s experience!
Current or very recent experience required.
Customer Service:
Greeting guests upon seating: Ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for customers.
Taking accurate food and beverage orders: Communicating needs to the kitchen via Square handheld device (experience with Square a plus, but will provide training).
Delivering food and beverages promptly: Ensuring guests receive their orders efficiently.
Providing exceptional service: Anticipating guest needs, addressing inquiries, and handling complaints professionally, or advising the owner of any issues to be handled promptly.
Ensuring customer satisfaction: Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and addressing any concerns.
Beverage and Food Preparation/Service:
Preparing and serving tea and other beverages: Knowledge of different tea types, brewing methods, and beverage preparation is a plus, but can provide training.
Operating beverage equipment: Familiarity with coffee makers, tea kettles, and other equipment.
Assisting with food service: Preparing high tea trays (with training and visual aids) or other light food preparation tasks.
Maintaining the Environment:
Maintaining a clean and organized dining area: Ensuring tables are set, spaces are tidy, and the environment is pleasant.
Assisting with cleaning duties: Cleaning work areas and other items throughout the day.
Other Responsibilities:
Handling cash and credit card transactions: Ensuring accurate billing and payment processing via Square. (If you haven’t used Square, we can train you!)
Participating in training: Staying up-to-date on menu items, service standards, and new techniques. It will be easy to get everyone caught up since we will be a small crew.
Collaborating with TEAm members: Working cohesively with other staff to provide exceptional service.

Servers - full-time and part-time
Our gorgeous china is a highlight of our tea house experience, so we need dishwashers who can take special care of our beautiful pieces.
Key Responsibilities:
Hand-washing: Wash delicate china, glassware, etc. by hand, utilizing the 3-compartment sink .
Tea Equipment Cleaning: Clean and sanitize tea pots, teacups, and other tea-related equipment.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including cleaning sinks, prep tables, and other work surfaces.
Stocking: Ensure an adequate supply of clean dishes, glassware, and utensils are available for tea service.
Basic Cleaning: Perform basic janitorial duties, such as cleaning spills, sweeping, and taking out trash.
Safety and Sanitation: Adhere to all food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Other Duties: Assist other staff members with tasks as needed.
